Brewing Guide

White Tea

Mild, delicate and essentially unprocessed, white tea is naturally air-dried.

Temperature: 70°C / 160°F

Brewing Time: 2 - 4 min.

Green Tea

Fresh and vegetal, green teas are plucked, withered and rolled. Heat is applied to stop oxidation.

Temperature: 80°C / 180°F

Brewing Time: 2 - 3 min.

Matcha Tea

Refreshing and stimulating, Matcha is a finely ground powder made from green tea.

Temperature: 80°C / 180°F

Brewing Time: whisk and serve.

Oolong Tea

Also known as purple tea, Oolong is partially oxidated and smooth yet complex in flavor.

Temperature: 90°C / 195°F

Brewing Time: 2 - 3 min.

Black Tea

Also known as red tea, black tea is strong, rich and, in some cases, the most astringent.

Temperature: 100°C / 200°F

Brewing Time: 3 - 4 min.

Pu'erh Tea

Woodsy, smooth and earthy, Pu'erh is a fermented tea that can be dark or green.

Temperature: 100°C / 200°F

Brewing Time: 4 - 5 min.

Rooibos

Also known as "redbush tea", rooibos is an herb with a soft, nutty and slightly sweet flavor.

Temperature: 100°C / 200°F

Brewing Time: 5 - 8 min.

Herbal Tea

Not actually tea, but infusions of flowers, fruit, leaves, seeds and/or roots.

Temperature: 100°C / 200°F

Brewing Time: 5 - 10 min.
